As you can tell, Ubisoft has remained very quiet about Far Cry 3. All we have heard about it so far is from programmers as well as other important employees stating how its well along in development. Now some recent references were uncovered by superannuation at Twitter. Ubisoft declined to comment on the speculation.
But that's not it, a senior software developer at Ubisoft Montreal just recently listed their work for an "unannounced shooter sequel" for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on their resume. A technical director of scripted events also listed it on their resume as an "undisclosed first-person shooter" once again being developed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. They also included that it has "exotic gameplay".
Rumors about Far Cry 3 have been going around for awhile but it appears that production of the game resumed in August 2009 in accordance with recent rumors. Ubisoft told Eurogamer it wouldn't comment on the matter so this leaves E3 open to be announced at.
UPDATE: Far Cry 3 has now even further appeared on two stuntmen's CVs. The game is also possibly going to be announced next month. Will it? I guess we'll find out.
