Weapon Wheel is a feature in the Far Cry series that allows you to change your weapons with a simple press of a button. Pressing that button opens up a circular wheel of weapons that you can select to use.

The weapon wheel in Far Cry 5
The weapon wheel returns in Far Cry 5, and will allow you to select two primary weapons, three with the Weapons Collector perk and a sidearm slot with the Additional Holster perk. In one slot on the weapon wheel you can hold melee weapons, and can carry more with the Close Combat Gear Bag perk. Three different slots hold all of the throwing weapons, explosives and bait, and some explosives can be crafted from the actual wheel itself. With weapons that allow it, selecting weapons on the weapon wheel will allow you to change ammunition type in the center of the well.
If you hold down a certain button on the weapon wheel you can change to the utility wheel, which has your fishing rods, homeopathics, liquor, oregano (marijuana) and the repair tool (if you have the Repair Torch perk).
