Zenia Zayas is a graffiti artist in Yara and a Los Bandidos captain for Libertad.
Biography[]
She is known to express her emotions and feelings in the form of graffiti art. She even did some artwork on a tank that Dani used to destroy some of José's billboards in Verdera. Her late father was a sculptor for the Castillo's, and she told Dani his last wish was for her to paint over the statues of Gabriel Castillo he made for them. She joins Libertad once the Yaran Story "Paint the Town" is completed.
Note[]
A torn page from a guerrilla diary can be found in the triad mural where Zenia sometimes spends time.
"Broken page of diary guerrilla
Location: Mural de La Triada
Contact: Zenia Zayas (aka "ZZ)
Details: Woman 21. Daughter of Elisio Zayas, state propaganda artist. Graffiti artist and tagger. She has a short temper and will not work with you unless you involve her creatively. (Tip: Praise her work. Ask how you can help her. NEVER ask her to teach you how to spray paint and don't try to suggest ideas for her next work.) she wants to work on our logo, but I pissed her off. I hope I can ask her again when she gets it over."
"Typewritten letter
Dad, this is an invitation to never talk to me again. The only reason I'm writing this is to tell you one last time what I think of you. You are a coward. You think you are inspired, you are fighting this war with your work, but you are only helping one person: yourself. You get away from your family. You walk away from the consequences. Duties when we were starving? Where were you when the army arrested me? You think more of old spirits than your daughter. If I ever find out where you live, I'll send you this letter. Without affection,
- Zenia"
